Genoa, another zero-cost hit on the way: Jeremy Toljan

Second market coup in Genoa. After the zero-parameter arrival of Nicolae Stanciu, a Romanian fantasist born in 1993, the Grifone management has closed for another zero-parameter purchase: Jeremy Toljan, a right-back born in 1994.

According to Sky Sport reports, the Rossoblù club has reached an agreement with the German side, whose contract with Sassuolo is expiring, and he will soon sign his new contract with the Ligurian club.

In the last season with the neroverde shirt Toljan contributed to Sassuolo’s promotion to Serie A by tallying seven assists in 34 appearances collected.

In the meantime, Genoa’s management is working to renew Patrick Vieira’s contract. The French coach is expected to sign an extension until 2027, the’understanding is close and the official announcement should come soon.
