World Cup Qualification 2026: Finland-Holland, the likely lineups

The Netherlands’ path in the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup begins with an away trip to Finland. The third day of Group G will be played on Saturday, June 7, at 8:45 p.m., at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.The Oranje do not want to slip up on their debut, while the hosts are second in the group with 4 points.

Friis is expected to rely on the classic 4-3-3: Hradecky in goal, protected by the line consisting of Alho, Tenho, Ivanov and Uronen. In midfield, Kamara, Lod and Suhonen are in pole, while the offensive trident should consist of Valakari and Antman on either side of Pohjanpalo, the central reference.

Koeman is expected to respond with a 4-2-3-1. Between the posts, space for Flekken, with a defense formed by Dumfries, Van Hecke, Van Dijk and Geertruida. In the middle of the field, De Jong will be flanked by Reijnders. In the three-quarter, Frimpong, Kluivert, ahead of Xavi Simons and Gakpo will act behind Depay, who will lead the attack.
