There is no peace for Neymar: positive for Covid-19

So far, Neymar’s return to Santos has been very unlucky: the Brazilian champion has had so many injuries and has now tested positive for Covid-19. This was confirmed by the Brazilian club itself via an official note.

“After showing febrile symptoms, Neymar Jr underwent laboratory tests following an evaluation by the Santos FC medical department, which confirmed a Covid-19 infection. The player was already away from’activity when he began to show symptoms, he is resting at home and following symptomatic treatment as determined by his doctor” the note reads.

In January, the Brazilian star player decided to leave Al Hilal’Al Hilal to return to Santos, a club where he played as a boy before being bought by Barcelona in 2013. Since returning to Santos he has recorded 3 goals and 3 assists in 14 appearances.
