Virtus Bologna updates on Achille Polonara’s condition

Through an official statement, Virtus Bologna has updated on the condition of Achille Polonara, who will still have to remain in the pits after missing the last two games of the LBA playoff semifinals with Olimpia Milano.

“Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna S.p.A. announces that Achille Polonara will still be unavailable due to a mononucleosic syndrome” this is what can be read in the note published by the bianconera team.

“The player will undergo periodic specialist medical checks and his condition will be evaluated daily” closes the statement from the Bologna club.

After reaching the final of the LBA playoffs thanks to a 3-1 success with Olimpia Milano, Virtus will face Germani Brescia in the last act. Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. at the Segafredo Arena in Bologna is scheduled for Game 1.
