During the latest episode of his podcast ‘Served with Andy Roddick’, the former tennis player commented on the incredible Roland Garros final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz: “One of the greatest matches of all time, and anyone who doesn&#8217t think so is living on nostalgia. It is absurd the level these two athletes have reached, they have pushed the game to points never seen before”.

“The way Sinner hits the ball, with unprecedented power. No one ever gave up a shot. I feel bad for Jannik, he knows he has nothing to complain about – added the’former world number one -. He knows that three months ago this would have been an unbelievable result and yet it doesn&#8217t change anything, compared to what he will experience these days”.

Then he made a confession about the’South Tyrolean: “He might be the most elegant and classy person I have ever seen, he had a legitimate grievance against the umpire in the fifth set over a missed call and at the end he complimented everyone I would never have done that, I would have come out with some maybe stupid complaint”.

“I don&#8220t know how anyone could ever say anything negative about him. As far as I am concerned we can already consider them among the best tennis players of all time. I see no reason to wait” Roddick concluded.
