The superfight between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz continues to make half the world discuss even days after the Roland Garros final: former Us Open finalist Greg Rusedski to thetennisgazette analyzed the match, pointing out Carlos Alcaraz’s incredible strength.
“It is amazing to think what he has accomplished so young. The only one who has won more Slams without defeat in the finals in men’s tennis is Federer, 7-0. Carlos is second with a 5-0 record, an accomplishment that even Rafa Nadal has not been able to achieve”.

And now the rivalry continues: “I look at Sinner and Alcaraz and I say okay, Sinner is the favorite in all cement tournaments, even though Alcaraz beat him at the US Open in that epic match. You look at clay and grass and you bet on Alcaraz. It was exactly what men’s tennis needed: a great rivalry after the big three, and we did it”.
