Kevin De Bruyne is officially a Napoli player

Now it’s official. Kevin De Bruyne is a new player for Napoli. A resounding blow for the Neapolitan club and for Serie A, which welcomes one of the strongest and most complete midfielders of recent years. The Belgian star, fresh from an extraordinary cycle at Manchester City that began in 2015, lands in the Italian league on a zero-parameter basis, ready to write a new chapter in his career under Antonio Conte.
The deal was formalized today: De Bruyne arrived in Rome, where he underwent medical examinations at the Villa Stuart clinic. Having successfully passed the checks, the midfielder then reached the club offices to sign the contract that will bind him to Napoli for two years, with an’option to extend. Immediately after the signing, the officialdom also arrived through the club’s social channels.
Napoli’s social announcement did not go unnoticed: “King Kev is here” reads on the official X account of the blue club, accompanied by a striking graphic image depicting De Bruyne seated on a king’s throne, armed with a sword and shield with the Napoli logo. A spectacular way to introduce the Parthenopean public to the new great acquisition.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis also wanted to give his personal welcome to the Belgian champion with a post on X: “Welcome Kevin!”, accompanied by a photo immortalizing the beginning of this new adventure.
