What do you think of the final won by Poeta with Leonessa Brescia?
“I would say he was super. Really, he did something important. He created great enthusiasm in the group and the results confirm it”.

.

You are a bit’biased in this final…
“I am pleased for Brescia and for Poeta. Well, yes, I am a little bit’ biased having played with the Leonessa jersey during my career (from 2016 to 2022, ed.)”.

How is the Italian basketball movement. Is there enough talent?
“The talents are there. We tend to downsize and underestimate our players. Instead, we should exalt them. From Bargnani onwards, so almost 20 years ago, we have seen many Italians in the NBA. Many, like Della Valle or Hackett, played college in the United States. Now many very young people will go to make their bones in the United States… The players are there, we just need to play them and have the patience to wait for them”.
