There's a queue for 39-year-old Edin Dzeko: Bologna in pole position

In the last two seasons with the Fenerbahce jersey, he scored a total of 46 goals. At 39 years of age, one less than Cristiano Ronaldo, Edin Dzeko still feels capable of playing at the highest level.

It is no coincidence that there is a queue to put him under contract for next season. The Bosnian striker is still physically intact and is used to playing on certain stages. In pole position would be Bologna who would like him as a key man for their Europa League adventure (his international experience would come in very handy).

Attention also to Fiorentina, which, as soon as it resolves the new coach issue (Stefano Pioli getting closer), will try to come forward to convince Edin Dzeko to wear purple. Not just Italian clubs. The’former Manchester City, Roma and Inter Milan striker has reportedly also received several offers from the Saudi Pro League.

To understand what his target is. He played for eight seasons in Italy (six with the Roma shirt and two with the Inter shirt). His class is not in question and neither is his physical fitness. The difference could be made by the type of project that will be proposed to him. Edin Dzeko still wants to be a protagonist and not a supporting player.
