Lewis Hamilton has no doubts about his and Frederic Vasseur’s future

Lewis Hamilton spoke during the Montreal GP press conference: “Vasseur questioned by some newspapers? It was communicated to me just as soon as I got here, I had not read these articles, but it is not good to know that these stories have come out. First of all, I love working with Fred and he is the main reason why I am in Ferrari and why I made the decision to come here and I am grateful to him for that”.

“We are on this adventure together, I know things are not perfect at the moment, however I am here to work with the team but also with Fred. I want Fred to be here and I believe he is the person who can take us to the top. That’s all there is to it. In my opinion these stories are nonsense and baseless. Most people do not know what is going on in the background and behind the scenes”.

“It is not that everything is simple, it is not that everything is running perfectly. We have had to make a lot of changes, there is a lot of work to be done and there is certainly a lot of pressure, however, there is no discussion going on at the moment about Fred’s position, as far as I know.”

“I will be here for a long time and there is no doubt where my head is at. I hope there are no more questions or doubts about that. I am here to win in red.”
