Decidedly bad evening for Arturo Vidal against Club Deportes Iquique. The nightmare began in minute 12, when the Chilean midfielder missed a penalty kick by having his shot parried by the opposing goalkeeper.

The bad night continued, and in minute 56 Vidal scored a resounding own goal: he intercepted an opponent’s free kick with his head but sent it directly into the Colo-Colo goal and was booed by his audience.

Following this, Arturo Vidal was reprimanded by his goalkeeper, De Paul, and reacted badly: initially he railed at him, then sought physical contact and was separated with difficulty from his teammates.
