The 93rd edition of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans ended with a new Ferrari triumph. The Maranello-based prancing horse thus signed its third consecutive victory in the world’s most prestigious endurance race. Making history on the La Sarthe circuit was the number 83 Ferrari 499P, masterfully driven by the trio composed of Robert Kubica, Yifei Ye and Phil Hanson. For the Maranello-based manufacturer, this was the twelfth overall success in the history of Le Mans, to which 29 class victories were added, for a total of no less than 41 victories in the famous French competition.

The AF Corse team, which ran the yellow #83 car, gave Ferrari the prestigious “Big Trophy” thanks to a virtually perfect race. After taking the lead during the treacherous overnight hours, the trio never relinquished the lead again until the finish line, crossed first by an emotional Robert Kubica, already a Formula 1 legend.

Another Ferrari, the #51 499P of Giovinazzi, Pier Guidi and Calado, also made the podium. The single-seater finished third after a race marked by some mistakes on the night. A spin by Pier Guidi on pit return that jeopardized the possibility of a historic all-Ferrari hat trick. The second step of the podium went to the No. 6 Porsche of Estre, Vanthoor and Campbell, protagonists of an extraordinary comeback.

Delusion instead for Valentino Rossi. The “doctor” forced to retire in his WRT team BMW M4 due to an electrical failure overnight. He was leading the LMGT3 category. For the Doctor, this is the second consecutive retirement at Le Mans.

Ferrari, however, continues to write unforgettable pages in the history of world endurance racing. It consolidates its dominance in the 2025 WEC championship with its fourth seasonal success in four races held.
