Edin Dzeko returns to Serie A: it’s done

Edin Dzeko is returning to Italy: he will wear the Fiorentina shirt next season. According to Firenzeviola.it reports, the lily club has reached an agreement with the agents of the Bosnian striker, who is ready to sign a one-year contract with an option for the following season.
Dzeko thus leaves Fenerbahce and Turkey: from July he will be available to new Viola coach Stefano Pioli. Fiorentina burned through competition from Bologna, which had been one step away from the player after a meeting with Sartori.
Dzeko, who will earn 1.8 million euros plus bonuses, scored 21 goals last season in Turkey. The 39-year-old forward played for eight years in Italy, at Roma and Inter’Inter, scoring more than 100 goals in Serie A. In his career Dzeko has scored a total of 381 goals with club teams, while in the national team he is at 68 goals in 141 games with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
