Jack Draper dedicates a thought to Jannik Sinner
Intervening at a press conference in London on the eve of his debut at Queen’s, Jack Draper also spoke about Jannik Sinner, speaking honeyed words for the world number one after his painful defeat to Carlos Alcaraz in the Roland Garros final.
“I will definitely give my support to Jannik when I see him and tell him how amazing he was and how proud I am of him– admitted the world number six.
It was a final that will go down in history and I am sure he will win that title many times”.
The British tennis player is close friends with the South Tyrolean champion, who in Rome had stated, “With Jack we have known each other for a long time, even better since he reached this level. Sinner, on the other hand, will be busy at the Halle ATP 500. L’Azzurro, after losing paired with Lorenzo Sonego in doubles, will make his debut with Yannick Hanfmann in the singles draw on Tuesday, June 17, on the OWL Arena no earlier than 3:30 p.m.
