Alberto Aquilani starts again with Catanzaro

Through an official statement Catanzaro has announced its new coach: Alberto Aquilani. The Roman coach has signed a two-year contract with the Giallorossi club until June 30, 2027.
Born in Rome in 1984, Aquilani had a brilliant career as a footballer, wearing – among others – the jerseys of Roma, Liverpool, Fiorentina and Juventus, as well as collecting several appearances with the Italian national team.
After retiring, he embarked on a coaching career, successfully guiding Fiorentina’s Primavera team – with which he won two Italian Cups and a Super Cup – and later Pisa in Serie B in the 2023/2024 season.
