Juve Stabia: Ignatius Abate new coach. And he makes a promise

Through a note, Juve Stabia announced that Ignazio Abate will be the new coach of the Wasps. L’former AC Milan signed a two-year contract that will be valid until June 30, 2027.
Born in Sant’Agata de’ Goti on Nov. 12, 1986, Abate had a long and prestigious career as a footballer: he wore the jerseys of Napoli (33 appearances, 2 goals), Piacenza (13 appearances), Modena (41 appearances, 1 goal), Empoli (38 appearances, 1 goal), Torino (29 appearances, 2 goals) and finally Milan, with whom he totaled 306 appearances and 3 goals in 10 seasons, winning 1 Scudetto and 2 Italian Super Cups. He also collected 22 appearances and 1 goal with the Italian national team.
As a coach, he started in 2021/22 at the helm of the Milan Under 16 team, with which he reached the Scudetto final. Later, he coached the Milan Primavera team (2022-2024), reaching the 2023/24 Youth League final. In the 2024/25 season, he led Ternana, achieving 21 wins, 9 draws and 4 defeats.
Mister Abate brings with him his staff, consisting of assistant coach, Cesare Beggi, born in Gorgonzola on January 15, 1972; technical assistant, Davide Farina, born in Milan on March 27, 1986; athletic trainer, Alessandro Micheli, born in Carrara on June 5, 1986; and match analyst, Dario Cucinotta, born in Messina on May 15, 1991. The members of coach Abate’s staff signed a two-year contract and join the already confirmed Amedeo Petrazzuolo, goalkeeping coach, and Raffaele La Penna, athletic trainer.
