Lorenzo Maspero says goodbye to Urania Milano and flies to Brindisi

Valtur Brindisi’s market move, which announced that it has acquired the services of Lorenzo Maspero, a 1998 Italian point guard from Urania Milano in the last positive sports season.
Play with consolidated experience in the Serie A2 championship, Maspero will face with the biancoazzurri colors his ninth consecutive season in the second Italian league after finishing the regular season with 5.8 points and 3.6 assists in more than 22 minutes of average per game, numbers that earned Urania Milano’s historic direct qualification to the playoffs.
Best performance of the season in the victorious away game in Cremona, where he scored a total rating of 29 credited to 16 points (3/3 from two, 2/2 from three, 4/6 at the free), 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
In the latter part of the season he formed the play-pivot axis with Kevin Ndzie, on loan to Milan since January 2025 and soon to be teammates in Brindisi.
Made his debut in Serie A2 in the early years of his career, he wore the blue jersey in the National Under-20 team in 2018. The four-year period in Mantua, from 2018 to 2022, enshrined him with 115 total appearances at an average of 5.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 21 minutes per game. Treviglio and Nardò the next stages of his career, in Puglia he reached salvation with the Neretini at an average of almost 6 points and 3 assists per game.
