Paola Egonu unleashed, manita for Italvolley in VNL

Federvolley

Fifth win in a row for the Azzurri in the Volleyball Nations League. After the four successes in Rio de Janeiro, Italy dropped the big four in the opener in Hong-Kong beating Bulgaria 3-1 (25-17; 23-25; 25-15; 25-15).

Solid performance that of CT Julio Velasco’s girls who once again showed clear progress both from a physical and technical point of view, managing to overcome the blackout of the second set by overcoming the difficulties encountered against a Bulgaria that was quite effective in serving.

Tomorrow Italy will face, at 11:30 a.m. Italian time, Thailand with the goal of making six out of six and then going into the first big match of the week (Friday, June 20 at 2:30 p.m. Italian time) against Japan in the best possible ranking condition.
