When Flavio Cobolli and Lorenzo Sonego play singles in Halle

Jannik Sinner is not the only Italian tennis player who is playing the ATP 500 on the German grass in Halle: in addition to the mondom number 1 tomorrow Flavio Cobolli and Lorenzo Sonego will also take the court for the second round of the Terra Wortmann Open.
The 23-year-old born in Florence but raised in Subiaco, in the province of Rome, currently world number 24, will play at 12 p.m. on the Schauinsland-Reisen Court against Canadian Denis Shapovalov, number 31.
The 30-year-old from Turin, No. 46, who won a tournament on grass in Antalya in 2019, will instead face off against No. 3 home favorite Alexander Zverev no earlier than 3:30 p.m. on the Owl Arena court.
Cobolli in the first round beat Portuguese talent Joao Fonseca 5-7 7-6 7-6, Sonego the other German Jan-Lennard Struff 6-3 6-2. There is no previous record between Cobolli and Shapovalov, Sonego has lost four out of four times to Zverev, the last just in Halle, 6-4 7-6 in the second round last year.
