Juventus: new name for defense, is a CR7 teammate

Juventus is very active in the market. Despite being busy at the Club World Cup, Igor Tudor is in constant contact with the club to figure out how to further improve the squad ahead of next season. Many names are in play, including a new addition to the defense.
According to Corriere dello Sport, there would also be the Bianconeri in the race for Aymeric Laporte. The 31-year-old defender, for the past two years Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner at’Al-Nassr, is reportedly considering a return to Europe. Athletic Bilbao, his former club, is reportedly making a big push to get him back but watch out for stiff competition.
One like Aymeric Laporte, an experienced defender (31 years old, he played and won a lot with Manchester City), would suit Igor Tudor, especially it would give Bremer the right amount of time to recover from injury. Also, with Federico Gatti not certain to stay, another defender would absolutely be needed.
Developments are expected in the coming days, and not only on this front. Great expectations for the Comolli-Vlahovic confrontation in which, almost certainly, will be defined the future of the Serbian striker who, at the moment, does not seem central in the new project of Igor Tudor. Also to be understood is whether and what offers will come for Dusan Vlahovic. Juventus does not want to let him leave without a major financial return.
