MotoGp, FP1 Mugello: Bezzecchi and Acosta the best with the same time. 4th Marquez, Bagnaia suffers

The first timed session of the MotoGp at the Mugello Circuit, ahead of the Grand Prix of Italy, closes with more than one surprise: in fact, FP1 ended with Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) and Pedro Acosta (KTM) both authors of the best time, 1:46.199. In chronological order, it was the Spaniard who achieved the best performance, while ‘Bez’ obtained the same chrono in the very last phase of the session.
Between the top three of the lot there’s no Ducati: in third position there’s in fact Brad Binder, who achieved a time 53 thousandths slower than Bezzecchi and Acosta. In fourth position is Borgo Panigale’s first bike, the Desmosedici GP-25 of Marc Marquez, whose best time is 94 thousandths slower than the session leaders.
More distant are the riders from fifth place down: the FP1 top 10 is rounded out by Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46, +0.387), Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha, +0.416), Maverick Viñales (KTM Tech3, +0.449), Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati, +0.452), Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini, +0.507) and Johann Zarco (Castrol Honda LCR, +0.657).
Pretty nervous morning for Pecco Bagnaia, protagonist of a couple of track exits without consequences. The session was characterized by a very high temperature both at the atmospheric level and what concerned the asphalt, with peaks in the latter case of 47 degrees that led to a faster consumption of the tires.
