MotoGp: Di Giannantonio happy but with one regret

The Ducati VR46 team centaur Fabio Di Giannantonio commented on his third place at Mugello in the Italian Grand Prix d’Italia: “Winning is another thing. But to make podium at Mugello, in Valentino Rossi’s team, with Valentino with us in the box. These are incredible things, this I put together with the first win in MotoGP. It’s a crazy feeling. I had to be precise because I was very far away, and I had to be precise with everyone, not just Pecco”.

The overtaking on Bagnaia came in the last laps: “I didn&#8217t think I could do it, then the last five laps I was always recovering three tenths. I was a bit on the limit, I had to calculate the neutral field point. Switching to the Casanova-Savelli by the way is cool, I wanted to combine the useful with the delightful”.

No shortage of regrets: “Too bad there weren”t two or three more laps because I had it, maybe I could even get closer to Alex. We need to start further”.
