In Group G, after the pass for the eighths won by Juventus, here is also the qualification of Manchester City. Guardiola’s team disposed of’Al-Ain with a dry 6-0 win, thus winning the second game in a row that is worth the access among the best 16 of the Club World Cup.

In spite of many “reserves” (many starters kept at rest ahead of the last match of the round with Juventus with first place at stake) the Citizens thrashed Al-Ain with great force. Gundogan (double), Echeverri, Haaland (on a penalty kick), Bobb and Cherki scored.

Bitterly, on the other hand, Al-Hilal’Al-Hilal did not go beyond a draw, with inviolate goals, with Salzburg. After having beaten Real Madrid on the first day, Inzaghi’s team fails to get past the Austrians and is now in big danger. Al-Hilal has “only” two points while Real Madrid and Salzburg lead Group H with four points (Pachuca at zero). The final day will be decisive, but Inzaghi could be left out of the round of 16.

Today on the schedule are Seattle Sounders-PSG (9 p.m. Italian time) and, also at the same time, Atletico Madrid–Botafogo. In the night (3:00 a.m.), Porto will take on Al-Ahly’Al-Ahly while Messi’s Inter Miami will take on Brazil&#8217s Palmeiras. The Club World Cup gets into full swing.
