Doubts about Pecco Bagnaia: Tardozzi explains Ducati’s position

Ducati Lenovo team manager Davide Tardozzi told TNT Sports about the difficulties of Pecco Bagnaia, who was unable to counter Marc Marquez even at Mugello, a track traditionally favorable to the two-time world champion. “At the’beginning of the race I was excited for Pecco, the way he was fighting”.

After the initial battle with the two Marquez brothers, Bagnaia dropped in the second half of the race and missed out on the podium: “Then he suffered a drop in grip, mainly due to the front tire, and could not continue to fight for the podium”.

Tardozzi confirmed Ducati’s confidence in the Piedmontese rider: “We have no doubts about him. I have been saying this since the beginning of the season: we lack something to help him, because he always has the same problems. So we have to find a solution, and we haven&#8217t found it yet”.
