Inter continues its path of strengthening ahead of the new season, and it does so with an operation that by now seemed only a formality: Nicola Zalewski is officially a Nerazzurri footballer. The Milanese club has exercised the right of redemption against Roma, paying 6 million euros into the Giallorossi’s coffers. The young Polish outfielder signed a new contract that will tie him to Inter with a 1.8 million euro per season salary.

Who arrived in Milan on February 1 on a loan deal, Zalewski has been able to carve out an important space for himself in the Nerazzurri’s tactical chessboard. He collected an impressive 17 appearances in just a few months. His convincing performances, combined with tactical pliability and great athletic intensity, convinced the Inter management to bet on him permanently. Now, while he is busy in the United States with the team for the Club World Cup, Zalewski can also celebrate this important personal milestone.
