Lorenzo Sonego gets off to a good start in Eastbourne

Lorenzo Sonego gets off on the right foot at the Eastbourne ATP 250. The Piedmontese tennis player, in fact, folds in two sets the Hungarian Fabian Marozsan, number 58 in the ATP ranking, in his debut, imposing himself in two sets (6-2 6-4) after one hour and 19 minutes of play.
A rocket start for the Blue who hits the break in the opening game and confirms it on serve (2-0). Sonego handles the wind much better than his opponent and in the fifth game he places a new break before closing on a 6-2 final.
The second set opens like the first: break in the opening by the Piedmontese, confirmed on serve after cancelling two dangerous counter-break balls (2-0). Sonego retains the lead until the final 6-4 with which he closes the match.
Thanks to this victory Sonego advances to the round of 16 of the ‘Lexus Eastbourne Open’ in which he will face Frenchman Ugo Humbert, world number 20 and No. 4 in the seeding.
