Inter, Denzel Dumfries makes a confession about Simone Inzaghi
Denzel Dumfries gave a lengthy interview to Gazzetta dello Sport. “I am available for the River – he began -After the last game with Holland, I had some physical problems and I did not want to risk it. At the end of the season you always have some pains, some fatigue”.

With the new coach we will do the same, we will adjust details together with him, we will follow new concepts. Maybe we will play a little higher, but there is a very positive atmosphere because Chivu is really good at explaining himself: the new energy, the new mental spirit comes from him”.
He then returned to the defeat in the Champions League final: “It is very hard to accept, but it is a final: either you win it or you lose it. Of course, we lost it badly, 5-0, but Psg was the better team and that May 31 was not our day at all. We did not show what we have always been capable of: we were not winning duels, we were late there where we are usually always ready. We have to accept that and start again. Next year we will have another chance and we have everything to try again. Now the world knows that Inter is capable of reaching the final, the next step is to prove that Inter can win it. On Simone Inzaghi’s farewell: “It was very difficult for me and for everyone, we were very close to Inzaghi. I arrived here at Inter together with him, everything I built at Inter was with him. For four years we were like a family, so his farewell was the end of a cycle that is not only soccer, but life is like that and it always goes on and gives you new stimuli. I am very happy that Inzaghi has found a new adventure, but we are also moving forward happily. We have a great new coach to strive for”.
“We heard rumors that we carried inside, but without talking about it among ourselves because everyone was focused only on the final. I assure you that in the head there was only Psg and nothing else” concluded Dumfries.
