René Arnoux crushes Ferrari: "A real disaster"

René Arnoux made some statements to the microphones of Autosprint in which he harshly criticized Ferrari, which is experiencing a rather difficult period in the Formula 1 World Championship, having scraped together only three podiums in the first ten GPs of the season.
“We are facing a strange thing, almost embarrassing – began the’former driver of the Rossa -, on the same day Ferrari goes to Le Mans with three hundred people and shocks the world, beating everyone for the third consecutive time”.
“Instead in Montreal in F1 with 1,200 people and an exponentially larger budget, it doesn’t even play second fiddle in a race done by others. We’re just not there. In F1, if we want to be honest, a real disaster is happening. And not since yesterday.”
Arnoux also has some for Frederic Vasseur: “Nothing personal against him but I make a simple argument. I like those who first get concrete results and then talk. Here we are in a situation where the results are not there however, there is a lot of talk, a lot of pulling, a lot of blaming, when the only one to give unappealable judgments is and must be the chronometer. And the chronometer is not defending this Ferrari, unfortunately”.
“The truth is that if Vasseur cannot get victories, he should at least find a way to take responsibility, otherwise I do not understand the point of his function” the 76-year-old Frenchman remarked.
