Mattia Bellucci also out in Eastbourne: Harris goes through in two sets

After Lorenzo Sonego, Mattia Bellucci was also eliminated in the round of 16 of the Eastbourne ATP 250. The Lombard tennis player, number 74 in the ATP rankings, surrendered in two sets (3-6 4-6) to Billy Harris, world number 142, after an hour and a half of play.
After two turnovers held to zero, Bellucci gave away two break points to Harris in the sixth game: the Briton did not let him say it twice and on the second opportunity he took the serve away from the Azzurro (4-2), keeping the break lead until the final 6-3.
The second partial is decided in the early games: Harris breaks Bellucci’s serve at zero in the third game (2-1); in the next one the Lombard has two counter-break chances but does not take advantage of them (3-1). From that point the Englishman concedes nothing more on serve and also makes the second set his 6-4.
With this defeat the scoreboard of the ‘Lexus Eastbourne Open’ also loses the’last remaining Italian tennis player. Before Bellucci, in fact, Sonego had succumbed in two sets to Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the number four seed.
