Pecco Bagnaia wants to make further progress in "his" Assen

Winner at Assen for the past three years, Pecco Bagnaia arrives at the Dutch Grand Prix fresh off his fourth-place finish at Mugello, a result that had made him say that there’had been “positive things, for the first time we fought and there’was a small step forward on the front”. But then he had added that “this situation can only help me better understand so many people and what to do in the future'”.
“I meant to say – he explains now in the press conference -and that difficult moments are the ones that teach you the most. If the team is united? There’s never been any doubt… . For me, this eve is like the others – says Bagnaia again talking about the Assen race -I am able every time to reset and start from scratch with the enthusiasm of always.”
“This is lucky and I can’t wait to ride here in Assen, which is a wonderful track. I’ve been watching some of the past races again, the Sprint Races, and in general it’s a track that has always suited me quite well. We are ready to go”.
“At Mugello, however, in the negative result there were some positive things and you have to build on those and, for the first time this year, I was able to fight. We need to carry this forward, a step forward has been made” he stressed.
“We will not make any particular changes on the bike– he concludes -. We just have to work to make a big step forward in this situation. At Sachsenring, however, we will try to do something more”.
