Vero Volleyball, Nicole Modesti joins Paola Egonu and teammates.

After leaving Vero Volleyball in 2022 at the conclusion of her trafila in the youth sector, subsequently playing three seasons in the A2 Series, Nicole Modesti officially returns to the Lombard club, to play the 2025-2026 season alongside Paola Egonu and teammates. The class of 2004 center did not hide her excitement for what she considers a “homecoming”.

“I am very excited to have the chance to be alongside players of the highest level– she explained -I am sure I will learn a lot from them. Vero Volleyball means so much to me, I grew up with these colors and now it is like coming home. When I was part of the youth team, I dreamed of being able to play with the first team, so this is a dream come true”.

In her three seasons in the second league, Nicole Modesti wore the jerseys of Club Italia, Trasporti Bressan Offanengo and US Esperia Cremona, participating in the 2024-2025 season in the promotion pool with the yellow-blue colors (finishing ninth). In her career she boasts silver at the U18 World Championships in 2018 and gold at the U19 European Championships the following year.

The Vero Volley Milan thus reinforces the central department in view of the upcoming season, in which the’goal is to confirm itself at high levels in Italy and Europe. The Rosablù girls ended the 2024-2025 year by reaching losing in the decisive act, again against Conegliano, the Scudetto, Italian Cup and Italian Supercup, while in the Champions and World Club Championships they finished in third place.
