Virtus Bologna and Brandon Taylor moving forward together: message to fans

After the victorious experience in the just-concluded Scudetto playoffs, Brandon Taylor has decided to continue his experience at Virtus Bologna that began right during the Italian championship post-season. The Bologna club made it official on Thursday that it had reached the’agreement for a contract renewal with the University of Utah product.

“To all Virtussini–said Taylor, addressing his message directly to the fans–I hope you are enjoying your summer and still celebrating the Scudetto we brought home in the season that just ended. But the most important thing is that I will be back: I am happy, I could not be happier than this. Forza Virtus”.

Taylor arrived in Bologna to reinforce the roster at Dusko Ivanovic’s disposal in the guard department, quickly becoming important for the Montenegrin coach’s rotations. The one with Virtus is his second championship won in Europe, after the one he won in 2017 in his first year in the Old Continent, at al’Albacomp Fehervar, Hungary.

Brandon Taylor has also worn the undershirts of Steaua Bucharest (Romania), Bergamo Basket (Italian Serie A2), Le Mans (France), Reggiana (Italian Serie A), Gravelines (France), Ningbo Rockets (China), Manresa and Coruña (both in Spain). A native of West Hollywood, in the Los Angeles area, he was selectable in the 2016 NBA Draft, but was not chosen there by the North American League franchises.
