Marc Marquez triumphs in Assen, Bezzecchi and Bagnaia on podium, fractured Alex Marquez

Sixth victory of the season out of ten Grands Prix for Marc Marquez: the Spaniard triumphs in the MotoGP class Grand Prix d’Holland at the Assen circuit beating Marco Bezzecchi on the Aprila and Pecco Bagnaia, his teammate in Ducati. Fourth and fifth were the other two Spaniards Pedro Acosta and Maverick Viñales on KTM.

Fabio Quartararo with his Yamaha starts badly from the pole position and at the first corner he is fourth, in the lead is Bagnaia followed by Alex and Marc Marquez, with Marc overtaking his little brother quite easily at the end of the first lap, Alex is then also overtaken by Bezzecchi and Acosta, while the Diablo loses many other positions and will finish tenth.

During the end of the fifth lap Marc overtakes Pecco, at the beginning of the sixth instead Alex falls colliding with Acosta in an attempt to ride him again and after the race he will be diagnosed with a fracture in his left hand, so in fifth place Morbidelli rises, but later Viñales will pass him. Bezzecchi at the end of the eighth lap overtakes Bagnaia and is second, then Acosta also goes ahead of the Torinese.

Pecco seems in trouble but slowly recovers and with nine laps to go he overtakes Acosta. Bezzecchi doesn’t give up on Marquez but never manages to attack him, so Marc goes on to win his 94th MotoGP race, his 68th in MotoGP.For Bezzecchi it’s the first podium of the season, the 35th in his career, for Bagnaia the podiums in his career are 80, six in the season.In the world standings Marc increases to 68 points d lead over Alex.
