Ducati, Tardozzi explains what Bagnaia lacks compared to Marc Marquez

Lenovo Ducati team director Davide Tardozzi in an interview with GPone commented on Marc Marquez’s dominant weekend at Assen: “I think Marc has gained particular confidence on the bike, you can expect him to fight for victory on all circuits. He is in very good shape, both physically and mentally, and his current maturity, after all he has had to endure in recent years, is clearly reflected in his race management”.
The Catalan rider is not only strong on the track: “What sets him apart is his professionalism: his collaboration with the engineers is exceptional. This ability to analyze and adapt makes him even more dangerous to his rivals”.
The duel with Pecco Bagnaia is, for now, overwhelmingly won: the centaur from Piedmont cannot get close to the number 93. Tardozzi, however, encouraged the two-time MotoGP world champion: “We know who Pecco is, we know him well. He does not lack speed, that is obvious. But he lacks the confidence to ride as easily as he did last year’last year”.
“The problem is that he has not yet been given the right bike, we want to allow him to regain that confidence he has lost”.
