Inter, Lautaro Martinez: very harsh outburst after the'elimination

Lautaro Martinez vented after Inter’s defeat to Fluminense that cost the Nerazzurri elimination in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup.

“It certainly hurts, because we come from so many knocks, this was a last goal we had, with the little strength we have left – admitted the Nerazzurri captain -. The few legs we have left. I for one put my heart into every training session, I am so sorry, sorry to lose, for the group”.

“But there’s one thing I want to say – added the Argentine striker -: here you have to want to stay, because here we are fighting for goals. The message is clear: those who want to stay with us, stay. Those who do not want to stay, must leave. We are here to do everything, however, I have seen many things that I did not like”.

“As captain, as the leader of this group after the coach, this is what I can say: either one side or the other, we are here to fight for goals” concluded Lautaro Martinez.
