Wimbledon: Mattia Bellucci doesn't miss on debut

Mattia Bellucci qualified for the second round at Wimbledon for the first time in his career. The Italian tennis player overcame Oliver Crawford, the home favorite and world number 248, in four sets with the scores of 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4.

After losing the first set on tie-break, the Lombard tennis player, an eve’s favorite, did not lose his nerve and fought back, winning the next three sets 6-3, 6-4, 6-4.

In the second round Bellucci will face Czech Lehecka, number 23 in the seeding, who overcame Dellien in four sets. L’Azzurro made it to the second round of a Slam tournament for the second time in his career after the 2024 edition of the Us Open.
