When Flavio Cobolli plays at Wimbledon against Beibit Zhukayev: the schedule

Reduced from reaching the quarterfinals of the Halle tournament (after beating Joao Fonseca and Denis Shapovalov, he was then defeated by Alexander Zverev), but also from the first-round elimination in Eastbourne at the hands of Jacob Fearnley, Flavio Cobolli is ready to kick off his Wimbledon tournament, with Beibit Zhukayev being his first-round opponent.
The match between Cobolli and Zhukayev is an unprecedented one: the current world number 24 and the Kazakh, who instead occupies the number 247 position in the world rankings, have in fact never faced each other before this occasion. The match between the two will be staged, as scheduled, on Tuesday, July 1, with a time scheduled no earlier than 3:45 p.m. Italian time (2:45 p.m. in London) and the possibility of postponement depending on previous matches scheduled on the same court.
As far as seasonal performance is concerned, Cobolli is having his best year since he has been a professional, with two tournaments won: the first in Bucharest, in the Romanian Open (ATP 250), beating Sebastian Baez in the final with a double 6-4, and the second in Hamburg, in the Hamburg European Open (ATP 500) defeating Andrey Rublev 6-2, 6-4 in the final act.
Zuhkayev, class of 2000, on the other hand, has not won any tournament on the major circuit, but he is not an opponent to be underestimated: in fact, in the qualifiers for the Wimbledon tournament he defeated first Ukrainian Vitaliy Sachko 7-5, 4-6, 7-6(10-3), then German Yannik Hanfmann 7-6(7), 6-3, and finally French Luka Pavlovic 3-6, 6-3, 6-2, 7-6(5).
