Wimbledon, Lorenzo Musetti in pieces: "I’m like a zombie"

It’s one of the many excellent eliminations in the first round of the Wimbledon tournament: Lorenzo Musetti in a press conference explained the background of his baffling knockout against Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili, who folded in four sets the semifinalist of last year’s edition of the London tournament.
“So sorry that I came here and felt sick, not with my leg but some kind of intestinal virus– revealed Musetti -The first part of the week had also gone well, then I felt drained and this sense of fatigue and exhaustion I carried with me even today”.
“After I lost the third my world fell apart a little bit and I started to feel even more fatigue, the fact that I was a zombie on the court. Maybe by taking me 2 sets to 1, maybe he could suffer it mentally and leave me a bigger window. I don”t see how with this physical form I could have gone any further”.
Musetti claimed to have recovered from the’ injury sustained at Roland Garros: “Until the injury healed I was advised against loading up on it. I took as much time as I needed, in fact trying to sensibly shorten the rehabilitation course. I knew I was coming in pulled because the timeline was three weeks. I arrived doing two and a half, feeling good, then there was another relapse in the middle of the week…” are the words reported by Tennisitaliano.
