Fabio Capello in Gazzetta dello Sport took stock of Inter’s experience at the Club World Cup: “Positive aspects? I saw some players make a great commitment, like Barella or Lautaro, but also a change in mentality. Something different”.

“I am referring to youngsters like Pio Esposito or Carboni, but also Sucic. The most interesting of the new ones. Closing on Calhanoglu: “He is the Rodri of Inter. A beacon, an indispensable player for the Nerazzurri game. He is part of those pivots with which to turn the team. It is logical that it will not be easy, in case, to replace someone like him”.
