Jonathan David, deal in the night: Juventus consoles itself after World Club Championships

Having ducked the’elimination at the hands of Real Madrid from the Club World Cup, Juventus has already turned over a new leaf and has done so in the best possible way as a deal was struck overnight for Jonathan David.
The class of 2000 Canadian striker, released after the end of his adventure at Lille from 16 goals in 32 appearances in Ligue 1 and 9 goals in 14 appearances in the Champions League last season, is one step away from signing with the Bianconeri club.
According to Sportmediaset, David is even already ready to interrupt his vacation to fly to Italy to undergo the ritual medical examinations before putting everything down on paper.
For David, there is talk of a multi-year contract worth six million euros net per season plus two in bonuses that would allow Juventus to beat out the competition.
