When does Elisabetta Cocciaretto play at Wimbledon: background with Katie Volynets

Thanks to a feat with Jessica Pegula, number 3 in the seeding and WTA ranking, Elisabetta Cocciaretto has qualified for the second round of Wimbledon where she will face Katie Volynets, world number 98.

The match between the Blue and the American is set for Thursday, July 3, on court 16. Opening the dances at 12 noon (11 a.m. local time) will be a men’s doubles draw, followed by Cocciaretto and Volynets.

There is no precedent between the two players.

The Marche player starts with the favor of the odds after eliminating Pegula, but she will have to watch out for the American, who eliminated the better-ranked Tatjana Maria in the first round.

Cocciaretto has no points to defend at the Championships because in the last edition she was forced to forfeit due to a viral illness.
