Jannik Sinner-Carlos Alcaraz: Vukic explains the main difference

Jannik Sinner pulled off the pass for the third round at Wimbledon thanks to an easy victory in three over Australian Aleksandar Vukic, number 93 in the ATP rankings, demolished with a clean 6-1 6-1 6-3 after just one hour and forty minutes of play.
Intervening at a press conference after the defeat to the world number one, Vukic explained the main difference between the South Tyrolean and Carlos Alcaraz, who had eliminated him in the second round in the last edition of the Championships.
“First of all, you have to admit that they are both a couple of steps above all opponents – he admitted -. Alcaraz definitely gives you more free points, he has some ups and downs during the match and you can pull your breath a little bit in those moments. Sinner – on the contrary – is simply suffocating from start to finish”.
Sinner will face Spain’s Pedro Martinez, world number 52, in the third round, while Alcaraz will take on Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff, world number 125.
