Nick Kyrgios: prediction about Jannik Sinner sparks debate

Intervening on the Uts podcast, Nick Kyrgios had his say on the comparison between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. Asked who between the two might have the better career, the Australian displaced many fans.
“In my opinion Jannik Sinner. Carlos Alcaraz could get distracted, he could party too much, that is his trouble. The’Italian on the other hand is more focused I think”. Kyrgios was echoed by coach Patrick Mouratoglou: “Sinner is more consistent, it is his mentality. Alcaraz over the course of the season loses a lot more matches than Sinner and that should not happen. In my opinion it happens because Carlos is not always focused”.
“Even during a match he has ups and downs, while Jannik Sinner is constant. In the end however I think it will depend on direct matches because they will meet very often in the finals in the future”.
Nick Kyrgios’ prediction sparked great debate on social media, especially since the Australian has repeatedly attacked Jannik Sinner in recent months. According to some, with these statements Kyrgios wants to increase the pressure on the world number 1.
