Silverstone, Lewis Hamilton doesn’t give up: "I’ll attack as hard as I can"

Lewis Hamilton is not giving up, despite a decidedly undershooting his and Ferrari’s expectations at Silverstone. The Englishman will start the British Grand Prix from fifth on the grid after a small but decisive mistake at the last corner of the flying lap, but he still aims to redeem himself in the race.
“In turn 16 I had some problems with understeer, probably those cost me a lot – highlighted Hamilton at the end of the day -. But Ferrari’s progress is there, and I’m happy with the way we’re moving. I was much happier behind the wheel than in the past, and until the last corner my lap was really good. I was only down a tenth”.
“With my engineer, we were much better in finding the ideal set-up of the car’continued Hamilton.
The work to be done is still a lot, but we are making progress after the updates that came in the last race. It seems to me that the results are also improving, as for me I guarantee my maximum commitment to grow more and more”.
Now, however, there’s to be run the British Grand Prix, on that Silverstone that has already won it victoriously nine times and where Hamilton collected a historic success even only last year. And his intentions for his first time in Ferrari on his home track are clear: “I don’t want to think about it for now, but I can say I will attack as much as I can”.
