Toto Wolff says no to Ferrari and recommends moving forward with Frederic Vasseur

Toto Wolff told La Stampa about Frederic Vasseur: “If it were up to me, I would let him work and move on, set clear goals for the team and then support him to the best of my ability”.

“This is my view from the outside, I have known Fred for 25 years and I know what he is capable of achieving, I am sure he can do it with that team if he is given the authority. He should get a little thicker skin”.

“This is not soccer, where sometimes you just have to change coaches. Building a winning team takes at least three to four years, however, it seems that lately F1 teams have revolving doors, Horner and I are the only ‘dinosaurs’”.

Interesting also the answer with an a priori no for his future in red: “For me the discourse is different, I have never been an employee and at Ferrari the team principal is an employee. I am an entrepreneur, I own a third of the Mercedes team, I represent this fantastic brand”.
