Olimpia Milan: away with the three young aces but not forever

Suigo, Lonati and Garavaglia. Three outstanding prospects, destined for a decidedly rosy future. All three grew up in’Olimpia Milano but, after winning everything at the youth level, they won’t be star players with the red and white club next year.
Despite their undeniable talent, their future will be elsewhere. Suigo, a 2007 class long listed as one of the papabili to play in the NBA, seems destined to play in Serbia, at Mega Basket (a team that “breeds” talent). A year of apprenticeship and then the jump to the NCAA or, why not, the NBA Draft.
Lonati has already given his okay to play in the’NCAA, at St. Bonaventure. The university’s GM, former journalist Wojnarowski, personally selected him. Having already completed his mandatory studies, he will then be able to showcase himself in the rich and talented NCAA.
Finally, it was thought that Garavaglia, another class of 2007, could remain in Coach Messina’s court, but instead, he too has decided to go elsewhere. The time has come for a change, and it is time to close this chapter of ours together, opening a new one with the same dedication, determination and smile that this club and these people have taught me” his words in the long social post. It seems he already has an agreement with the German team Ulm’Ulm. In short, all three have decided to leave Olimpia Milano’but not forever. The red and white club has a kind of “right of recompense” on them. If the conditions are right in the future, they will return to wear the red and white jersey.
