Jannik Sinner spoke at a press conference after his Wimbledon round of 16 victory over Grigor Dimitrov, who was forced to retire due to a pectoral injury when he was leading by two sets.

The world number one hurt his right elbow after a fall early in the match during the first game: “There is some concern and it will depend on how I react in the morning. It will be crucial to figure out how I wake up and check”.

“It was quite an unfortunate fall and I reviewed the videos a little bit and it didn–t look that heavy,– added l’Blue -but I still felt it quite a lot, especially on my serve and backhand. We will do some checks to see how it feels and then decide”.

“There are good ATP physical therapists here and the doctor is also reliable. As I said, we will do an MRI to see if there is anything serious and then we will try to manage the situation” Sinner concluded.
