Italy women, Andrea Soncin wants to make history in Bern

The coach of the women’s national team spoke in a press conference on the eve of Italy-Spain, the last match of Group B of the Women’s European Championships that could give a historic qualification to the quarterfinals to the Azzurre.
“We are here to pass the round and write history – stressed the coach of the women’Italy, which with a win or a draw with the Spanish is certain of qualification -, we are aware of our qualities and ready to play a great match”.
“We know our opponents well and to counter their ball possession we will have to be very effective when we have the ball – added the coach of the women’s national team -. There will be many situations where we will have the opportunity to hurt their defensive structure”.
Soncin has not yet chosen the’anti-Spain eleven: “I have not yet decided the lineup but as a team we have shown so far that we can change our skin, depending on the match strategy and the opponent we face”.
“The numbers say there were moments in the first two matches when we were in full control of the game, but we definitely need to improve under goal” concluded the coach of the Azzurre.
