Calciomercato Napoli: Victor Osimhen’s farewell and his final move to Galatasaray do not seem to have been accomplished. At least for the moment. Thursday, July 10, seemed like it could be the decisive day for the return to Turkey of the center forward who does not even want to take part in the Azzurri’s training camp. At the moment, however, all is silent.

Thursday was the day set for the expiration of Osimhen’s contract termination clause, valid only for foreign countries and payable in a single check for 75 million euros. Very large sums, however, which Galatasaray seemed willing to shoulder. At least based on the developments of the previous days.

As early as Wednesday, in fact, the arrival in Naples of the Galatasaray leadership had taken place, with the aim of renegotiating with the Neapolitan club the terms of the deal. There had been talk of the Turks’ willingness to still pay Osimhen the expected 75 million, but asking to be able to instal it in several tranches. A possibility that does not seem to have materialized at the moment.

The future of Osimhen remains at this point all to be defined, which in any case Napoli wants to sell even having ascertained the player’s firm desire to no longer wear the Azzurri jersey. In the forefront remains Galatasaray, which at this point could aim to snatch a more advantageous deal. Now definitively defiled l’Al Hilal, in the background remains Juventus. Which has not been dealing with Cristiano Giuntoli’s historic darling for some time now, it must be said, but with prospects that could change should Dusan Vlahovic’s farewell really materialize in the end.
