Jannik Sinner dominant, Djokovic knocked out in 3 sets: first final at Wimbledon

Jannik Sinner hits his first career final at Wimbledon. The world number one clearly beat Novak Djokovic, number 6 in the seeding and ATP ranking, with a final score of 6-3 6-4 6-4, after one’hour and fifty-five minutes of play.
After the first two turnovers, held to zero by both players, the first to break the balance was Sinner, who broke Djokovic’s serve at fifteen in the third game. L’Azzurro confirmed the break lead with a pair of aces and repeated it in the ninth game, making the first partial his (6-3).
Sinner continues to play impressively and the break comes right away in the second set as well.
The South Tyrolean snatches the serve from Nole in the second game and confirms the break at zero. Djokovic manages to break free but Sinner concedes the crumbs on serve and closes the second set as well with the same score: 6-3.
The third set opens with a sudden break by Nole in the second game: Sinner loses four points in a row and gives up the serve for the first time in the match. Djokovic confirms the lead (3-0) but from here comes the Azure’s reaction, stringing five consecutive games. On 5-4 and serve Sinner does not tremble and closes on the fourth match point with an open-court winning forehand.
Thanks to this success Sinner flies to the last act of the Championships where he will face Carlos Alcaraz, who beat Taylor Fritz (6-4 5-7 6-3 7-6) in four sets in the first semifinal.
